Geological services for deep well drilling (oil, gas, coal bed methane, geothermal), is the main area of GEOKRAK business activities. Over the last ten years GEOKRAK has partaken in drilling operations projects for the following companies: VIKELT, AMOCO, TEXACO, APACHE, RWE-DEA, MEDUSA. Together with our business partners (GEO-data and PETROLOG) we are currently operating on projects at drilling sites in Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Albania, Sweden and the Netherlands. The experience and skills of our technical staff, which is supplemented by the continuous improvement through the cooperation with international service companies, enables us to meet high requirement standards of our customers.
Geological services for deep well drilling encompass the following types of work:

• Mud logging services (in joint service with GEO-data), which include:
  • Continuous monitoring of technical drilling parameters
  • Gas detection in mud (TG, chromatograph, CO2)
  • Measurement of mud properties
  • Storage of data in the time and depth related database
  • Collection, description and archiving of geological samples (cuttings and cores)
  • The preparation of master logs and technical logs
  • The preparation of daily, weekly and final well reports
  
  
• Well site geology service including:
  • Supervision and coordination of geological activities while drilling deep wells
  • The determination of litho-stratigraphic boundaries and correlation markers
  • The determination of coring and casing depths
  • The compilation of Final Well Reports
  
  
• The design of geological work schedules for:
  • Making applications for an exploration concession.
  • The operational period at this concession.
